TRANSITION TO KINDERGARTEN

Current Voluntary Pre-K Families, we are here to support you in your journey to kindergarten!

For families of children who are five years old by September 1st, 2025, now is a great time to learn more about kindergarten transition!

How to Find Your School and Register for the 2025/26 Year

  • Finding Your Child's Zoned School

    Families can find their zoned school HERE.


    Please find more details about registering for kindergarten on the Registration tab for more support with questions. You can also connect with the School Districts's Kindergarten Ambassadors. 

  • Registration

    Online Registration-Online  registration is available March 3. 2025 on the school district's site.


    In-Person Registration-For in-person registration, find your zoned school here then visit your zoned school  Monday through Friday during school hours with your registration form (available either online or at the school front office) and required documents. 


    In-Person Registration Requirements

    In-person registration is required for:

    • Children enrolled in pre-kindergarten in the School District of Palm Beach County (including charter schools) 
    • Childfind participants 
    • Children enrolled in pre-kindergarten through the Florida Empowerment Scholarship 
    • Families who completed a 'Request for Student ID Number' for the purpose of submitting a Choice application for the 2025-2026 school year can register at their Choice or home school upon release of Choice lottery results on April 4, 2025.
